B Gautham Baliga is director at OPAL HVAC Engineers Pvt Ltd, a company which specialises in design and build of pharmaceutical, healthcare and industrial HVAC systems. He is a graduate mechanical engineer from IIT Kharagpur, 1979 batch and has worked with Voltas Ltd for 8 years.

He is an active member of ISHRAE [Indian Society for Heating, Refrigerating & Air-conditioning Engineers], in which he was on the Editorial Board of the ISHRAE Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Journal. He currently chairs IIE [ISHRAE Institute of Excellence], which is the education wing of ISHRAE. He also chairs the Healthcare TG [Technical Group] which has been tasked to come out with a India specific guide for air-conditioning of healthcare facilities.

Gautham is on the panel of ISHRAE DL [Distinguished Lecturer] and lectures on topics related to Clean-rooms and Healthcare.

Mr. Praveen Khanna graduated from YMCA Institute of Engineering with specialization in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning in 1985. He has gained extensive experience in execution of a wide spectrum of HVAC projects during his tenure with Voltas Limited, ETA Engineering & Suvidha Engineers. He is now a Director in ELM Enterprises Private Limited, a venture he co-founded in 2014, as a specialist HVAC company.

Mr. Sasidharan S Menon

Mr.Sasidharan S Menon  is Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Design and Evaluation for  Controlled Environments for Contamination Control .

Sasidharan is an electrical engineering graduate with PGPC for utilities, has more than three decades of association with Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology & Health care related Cleanroom installations. He is currently engaged as SME (Subject Matter Expert) – Design & Evaluation, Controlled Environments for Contamination Control, by Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, for their stem cells based regenerative medicines’ project and various Pharma projects at Maharashtra, Kolkata, Haryana, Dhaka and other places.  He is also Director-Special Projects for Thermolab Group, who are leaders in Stability testing chambers and Cold Chain Development for Frozen Food products and other perishables. He is a trainer for ISHRAE’s Cleanroom Certification Programs and associated closely with ISPE, IPA and IDMA seminars and symposiums.

Mr.ShankarRajasekaran is a graduate engineer from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. He is Founder and Director (Engineering) of M/s. IMPEC FILTERS Private Limited & Consulting Engineer with M/s. True Aire Concepts Private Limited. He is “Certified Air Filter Specialist” from NAFA, USA & Certified “Cleanroom Testing Professional” from CTCBI, UK. He has 30  years of professional experience in the field of Air filtration and Contamination control. As ISHRAE Distinguished Lecturer, he speaks on “Air Filtration”
For the ICP Cleanroom Level 1 course, he takes topics related to  Air Filters, Filter Testing and Cleanroom testing. 

Mr. V Krishnan

Electrical Engineering

Mr. V Krishnan graduated from IIT with a degree in Electrical Engineering and joined VOLTAS LIMITED, as a Management Trainee. He spent the next fifteen years with VOLTAS, where he handled several assignments including sales, project execution, service and then moved to the Corporate Office where he was responsible for Business Development, Technology Transfer and Dealer Development.

Krishnan separated from VOLTAS in 1992 and started his own enterprise which is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing Air, Fire and Smoke Management Products.

Krishnan is a Presidential Member of ISHRAE, and,  currently serves on the Society’s Nominating Committee, Advisory Committee, Certification Committee and also on the Society’s Apex Advocacy Committee.

A member of ASHRAE since 1989, he has served as the President of the ASHRAE Western India Chapter, Treasurer for ASHRAE Region-at Large, and, currently serves as a Voting Member on ASHRAE Technical Committee 5.03 which deals with Room Air Distribution. He is also a Member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, USA and the Indoor Air Quality Association.
